Reiki works to gently heal deep mental, emotional and psychic imbalances or stagnant energy blocks that may intern create physical problems. Reiki works at the causal level and not just symptomatic, by balancing energies and cleansing toxins.

During the phase of a Woman’s life as she begins to move into the perimenopause, in preparation for the menopause, and this new phase of life, known in Traditional Chinese Medicine as her ‘Second Spring’.

During this transition, any life events, earlier on in life, that have not been addressed and processed are now brough to the surface to be seen and burnt off. The system of Reiki can become an invaluable resource for all Women at this pivotal point in their lives, as it opens up an opportunity to be held and supported with the unfolding and emerging, in some cases these can be traumatic events.

What to expect from a Reiki Treatment.

A Reiki treatment usually last and hour where you will spend the time in a relaxed and supported posture, lay down on a treatment bed. The hands on treatment will usually start at the crown of your head and move down your body, finishing at the feet. The energies between the practitioner and client begin to merge, there is no separations of energy as we are both one. You make experience heat or movement of energy emanating from the hands or nothing at all. Your experience will be unique to you, however if you converse with others who have experienced Reiki they may have similar experiences.

All Reiki treatments are by appointment only and at flexible times throughout the week.

JAPANESE REIKI DEVELOPMENT GROUP FOR WOMEN

The first Monday evening of each month. 7pm until 8.30pm.

Reiki and its deeper meanings and revelations ‘to know the Self’, can be brought to the surface through enquiry meditation and Reiki practices and treatments. This Reiki development practice group offer the female collective, both students and teacher the opportunity to come together and create a harmonious space for healing.

During the transition of womanhood from our first bleed to our last, we will all experience shifts in our biology-social standing-environments-relationships with ourselves and others-connection to our spiritual aspects of being. The phases of menstruation and the perimenopause in particular, begin to lift and bring to the surface any unprocessed or unresolved emotions from the past, that we may have buried deep within or what we may perceive to have been addressed.

The internal wisdom and intelligence brings forth these shadow aspects of our self to be worked upon and resolved each monthly cycle and before we enter our ‘Second Spring’, as it is known in Traditional Chinese Medicine, post menopause. Working with the beautiful framework of Reiki gifts us with the tools to ease through these arising memories, pain and emotion which for some of us can be traumatic and ungrounding.

Many of the symptoms also experienced during the menopause can be debilitating in particular ‘Meno-rage’, out bursts of anger that seem to appear from nowhere. Working with the Reiki precepts can offer guidance and support. Coming together once a month to develop and embody these beautiful techniques can be both empowering and transformative, easing us gracefully into our second spring.

REIKI HEALING PRACTICE GROUP/REIKI SHARE

The second Monday evening of each month. 7pm until 9pm.

This two hour session brings together students, practitioners and teachers who have been attuned to Reiki, either Western Style Reiki or Japanese Reiki. Within this collective the technique, ‘concentrated spiritual energy’ in Japanese ‘Shuchu Reiki’, is performed by several practitioners laying hands on one practitioner giving a Reiki healing Treatment. All participants have the opportunity to give and receive a Reiki treatment during the session. Also known as a ‘Reiki share’ it creates a great opportunity for practitioners and new comers to practice laying hands on and developing their connection to Reiki energy. The Reiki Share is offered in person once a month
